How ORDR HAUS sends text messages
ORDR HAUS LLC operates a point-of-sale and booking platform for salons. Salons that use ORDR HAUS send appointment and account notifications to their own customers by text message through our shared number. This page explains what is sent, how customers opt in, and how to stop.
What we send
Messages from this number are transactional notifications tied to something the customer asked for at a salon. No promotional or marketing content is sent from this number.
- Appointment reminders before a booked appointment.
- Booking confirmations and declines after a customer requests an appointment online.
- Gift card delivery when a customer buys a gift card and asks the salon to text it.
- Verification codes when a customer signs in or resets a password on the ORDR HAUS booking site.
Frequency: only when there is an appointment, booking, gift card, or sign-in to notify about. Typically 1–3 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply.

Every message can be stopped by replying STOP; replying HELP returns the contact details on this page.
How customers opt in
A customer's phone number is only used for text notifications after the customer agrees in one of these ways:
- At the salon front desk. When a customer is registered in the salon's ORDR HAUS point of sale, staff ask for the customer's mobile number and whether they would like appointment reminders and receipts by text. The customer's answer is saved on the customer record as a notification preference and can be changed by staff at any time on request.
- On the salon's online booking page (book.ordr.haus). The customer enters their mobile number to receive a confirmation and reminder for the appointment they are booking, and verifies the number with a one-time code sent to it.
- On the customer-facing consent screen below. For marketing messages, which are sent from separate salon numbers and not from this toll-free number, staff hand the device to the customer, who reviews the terms and taps Agree. The consent is recorded with the date, time and channels selected.
Staff: "Can I get a mobile number for your appointment? We'll text you a reminder before your visit and a confirmation if you book online. Message and data rates may apply, usually one to three texts per appointment. You can reply STOP any time to stop, or HELP for help. Is that okay?"
Customer: "Yes, that's fine." — Staff then enter the number and turn on Text notifications on the customer's record. If the customer says no, the number is saved without text notifications and nothing is sent.
Numbers are never bought, imported from third parties, or used for anyone other than the salon the customer visited.
